WHERE TO EAT
Hungry? While the Joshua Tree area isn’t packed with places to eat, there are a handful that we recommend checking out.
Joshua Tree
❤️ The Dez - The Dez showed up in town in late 2020 but quickly shot to the top of our list for favorite lunch places and coffee. It’s currently take-out only, so grab something on your way through town or to take into the park. Generally good options if you’re gluten-free!
Joshua Tree Saloon - a well-known watering hole in Joshua Tree for almost 40 years! Joshua Tree Saloon is your go to for drinks, food, and live music on the weekends. Indoors can get a bit crowded (especially in the high season), but there’s also outdoor seating! Great for lunch and dinner.
Crossroads Cafe - Great for breakfast, lunch, and dinner! In the high season it can get a bit crowded, but it’s worth it.
JT Country Kitchen - We haven’t eaten here much, but it seems popular.
Roadrunner Grab+Go - If you’re in a hurry, grab a quick lunch to go next to the visitors center in town.
Castenadas - sometimes everything is just too busy and you need dinner before the hangry ruins your vacation. Castenadas is open 24/7 for some fast and acceptable Mexican food.
